here's a great website where you can add and edit ur background (u can choose how to put the background - the position, whether u want it to be tiled as in u want the image to repeat or not, and the movement - if u want it to be fixed or move along while u scroll the page) and other stuff like changing font types/colours, scroll bar's colour to match your background, etc.

then u can also preview it before u paste the code to ur profile.

Myspace Layout help???

I made a custom layout using photoshop cs3. www.myspace.com/306848059 is the URL to the profile (note: this is just the profile that I use to test my HTML). Anyway, I was able to get my friends and comments into a scrollbox, but I can't get them to move!! I've been able to move all of the other things on the profile, excpect for that scroll box!!! I've tried every code I can find!! How can I move it?????

so play around with it.

you can have negative numbers.

your layout looks like a DIV to me. so you might want to make the background a bit larger so theres some background behind the friends/comments scroll box.

You need a color background to replace the white border around the screen.

And it is almost impossible to read the red text. You need a lighter font which will stand out over the black.

the red is too hard to read with your dark backround... your backround is kind of dark and depressing.. not my style..but everyone has different taste :)
It's okay. I like everything except I hate how the background repeats itself. But that's just me.

something may be wrong with ur downloading process u may have dial-up. Im guessing that u may not be copying and pasting the layout code completely. In case u dnt copy the text and go to ur edit profile which should be next to ur picture......thn deleate ur whole code for ur old layout and paste it and make sure u save the settings. Sometimes it may take a while to get ur profile customed to the new setting but shouldnt take longer thn 2min.........try it agian on another computer
