How Do You Make The Center of a Default layout anothere color other then white?

I need help because everytime i make a default layout the center where all my stuff is on my myspace profile it is all white and the original myspace and i want to know if there is a code to make the center white part another color or is there simply another website where i can make it a layout like that?
